How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Profile settings in the app, or by emailing support@supportvest.com. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage your subscription through the platform you subscribed on: iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, Google Play > Subscriptions, or your Stripe billing portal. You can also email support@supportvest.com for help.
Is SupportVest a financial advisor?
No. SupportVest is a financial education platform only. We provide general financial literacy content, not personalized financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional for personal financial decisions.
What is VestCoin?
VestCoin is our in-app virtual currency used for gamification. You earn VestCoins by completing lessons and maintaining streaks. VestCoins have no real-world cash value and cannot be redeemed for real money.
Is the portfolio simulator real money?
No. The portfolio simulator uses real market data but all trades are simulated with virtual currency. No real money is ever invested. It's a risk-free way to learn investing concepts.
How do I disconnect a linked bank account?
Go to the Finance tab in the app and select your linked account. Tap "Disconnect" to immediately revoke access. All cached financial data from that account will be deleted.
What data do you collect?
We collect account information, learning progress, and any financial data you voluntarily enter. We never sell your data. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We use Row-Level Security so users can only access their own data. Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified services.
Response Time
We aim to respond to all support inquiries within 24-48 hours during business days. Privacy and data deletion requests are processed within 30 days as required by law.
